{"id":1848,"date":"2020-06-18T09:01:10","date_gmt":"2020-06-18T09:01:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.cambrooke.com\/blog\/?p=1848"},"modified":"2020-06-18T09:01:10","modified_gmt":"2020-06-18T09:01:10","slug":"bibimbap-bowl","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.cambrooke.com\/blog\/2020\/06\/bibimbap-bowl\/","title":{"rendered":"Bibimbap Bowl"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>12 g \/ 2.5 tsp zucchini<\/li>\n<li>7 g \/ 1.5 tsp carrot<\/li>\n<li>30 g \/ 1\/4 cup sliced white Chinese leaf<\/li>\n<li>20 g \/ 1\/3 cup spinach<\/li>\n<li>20 g \/ 1\/3 cup bean sprouts<\/li>\n<li>30 g \/ 1\/4 cup asparagus<\/li>\n<li>25 g \/ 1\/8 cup low protein rice<\/li>\n<li>3 g \/ 1 tsp soy sauce<\/li>\n<li>1 g \/ 1\/2 tsp salt<\/li>\n<li>3 g \/ 1 tsp crushed garlic<\/li>\n<li>6 g \/ 1 Tbs siracha sauce<\/li>\n<li>11 g \/ 2 Tbs sesame oil<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Directions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>For the spinach:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In boiling water, add the spinach and blanche for 30 seconds<\/li>\n<li>Remove and run under cold water<\/li>\n<li>Squeeze the spinach to remove any excess water<\/li>\n<li>Add 1\/2 Tbs of crushed garlic, 1\/2 Tbs of sesame oil and a sprinkle of salt<\/li>\n<li>Mix together with fingers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>For the Chinese white leaf:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In a boiling pan, add the white leaf and boil for 10 minutes<\/li>\n<li>Drain and squeeze excess water from the leaf<\/li>\n<li>Add sesame oil to the pan, season with salt and fry for 2-3 minutes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>For the bean sprouts:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In a boiling pan, add the bean sprouts and boil for 2 minutes<\/li>\n<li>Drain and squeeze excess water from the bean sprout<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>For the asparagus:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Cut the asparagus in three and roughly slice them into strips<\/li>\n<li>In a bowl mix in 1 Tbs soy sauce, 1\/2 Tbs crushed garlic and sesame oil<\/li>\n<li>Fry the asparagus for 2-3 minutes until lightly brown<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>For the carrot and zucchini:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Slice the zucchini into circles and then into small strips<\/li>\n<li>Slice the carrot into circles and then into small strips<\/li>\n<li>Fry the carrot for 2-3 minutes until lightly brown and season with salt<\/li>\n<li>Fry the zucchini for 2-3 minutes until lightly brown and season with salt<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Assemble the Bibimbap<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>For best results, place in a Dolsot and heat<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In a bowl, add rice, zucchini, carrots, asparagus, spinach, white leaf, bean sprouts and siracha sauce<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Makes: 1<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Nutritional Information:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Calories:\u00a0<\/strong>213 kcals<\/li>\n<li><strong>Phe: <\/strong>112\u00a0mg<\/li>\n<li><strong>Protein: <\/strong>3\u00a0g<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Bibimbap Bowl\" width=\"1140\" height=\"641\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/l75TVS07Nvw?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer;
